John Morgan this post is for you!

Two words - Copeland's and crawfish! For lunch we ate at Copeland's. Billy had stuffed shrimp and I had catfish. It was some kind of good! And then for dinner we had boiled crawfish! Lots and lots and lots of boiled crawfish! It was mmmm...mmmm good! We thought of you as we ate. :) We took a few pictures so at least you could enjoy that!

Daddy feeding me for the first time

This week I have been learning to take a bottle. I haven't done very good but today I finally did it and daddy was able to feed me for the first time. I'm still not to sure about it but I guess I better get used to it. And I have also learned to take my pacifier. Everyone is really excited about that.

Frosty's!!!!!

Guess what was in this cup yesterday? One hint...you can buy it at Wendy's. I guess the title gave it away - it was a Frosty! Oh it was sooo good! I ate it with fries which made it even better. If I keep eating like this everyday I will gain back all the weight I've lost! Oh well you only come to the states once every couple of years so you might as well make it count!

My New Niece Sara Elizabeth Johnson

Meet my new niece, Sara. She was born April 20. She weighed 7lbs. 13oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. I think she looks like my brother but I can't really tell yet. But she sure looks sweet! Bailey can't wait to play with her new cousin.

I guess for the next 3 weeks I should get used to it. But mommy says don't get too used to it because she isn't holding me all the time when we go home! We'll see about that...

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Friday was Billy's birthday. He turned 29. He is going to hold on to the twenties as long as he can! We had a great day of celebrating. We rested all day and then went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner. He had been waiting two years to eat there again. It sure was mmmm....mmmmm....good! We took pictures so all of you all in Istanbul would be jealous of the good food we are eating! We had a bloomin' onion, steak, baked potato, shrimp and sweet tea. Oh it was good. We were thinking of all our friends in Turkiye as we ate. :) We will be sure to tell you about all the other good food as we eat. ;)

Bailey and her new wheels

Bailey finally got her first set of wheels - her stroller! She went for a ride in them yesterday to the mall. She sat in it half of the time while we were there and then she would get upset and her daddy would carry her.

Also we are not used to the weather in LA. It is HOT! We had to buy Bailey some new clothes so she could go outside and not burn up. She wore blue jeans yesterday - not a good choice but that's all she had. The clothes we have are not suitable for this sunny, muggy, Louisiana weather. I forgot how hot it could get. But we are having a good time with family. Bailey is getting spoiled everyday!

My First Flight

I was such a good girl on our flight. We had lots of fun and I met so many people that said I was really cute. I am not sure mommy and daddy had as much fun as I did, but hey the world doesn't revolve around them. Now I am at my first stop on my tour in America. As I expected people are coming from everywhere to see me. Gosh it is good to be loved!

My friend Karis, she was born March 23. The last of the babies in Istanbul to be born. Now I have three new friends.

My Frist Trip to the Grand Bazaar!

Yesterday was my first trip to the Grand Bazaar. I didn't know what to think with all those Turkish men talking to me. Everytime I turned around I heard "Mashallah, Mashallah." They go crazy over babies! Anyway, I mostly hung out with daddy and our friend Vural. Vural got me a Fenerbahce onesie and a cup, bowl and plate with Fenerbahce on it too. My mom says I can't wear it because her team is Besiktas. But daddy promised Vural I would wear it! Vural is a Fenerbahce fanatic! I also got several other little presents like two evil eyes and a gold coin. I'll start racking up on those gold coins! Hope you enjoy the pictures.
