Little Alien

Bailey and Jesse like to play that Jack is a alien. So, often they run around the house yelling, "the alien is after us!" Of course Jack is totally unaware of what is going on and he just tagging along as they run around the house. Poor little guy. In the pictures below he certainly looks like a little alien or at least it made for some funny pictures!

Sneaky Boys

This happened a week or so ago so I don't remember all the details but I think Jesse was asking me for a snack. I must have been busy doing something important (haha!), anyway, and kept telling him I would get it in just a minute. Well, he got tired of waiting and so he and Jack decided to get their own snack. As you can see they helped themselves to some Girl Scout cookies, Tag-a-longs, actually. They were so proud of themselves. It was hard to fuss so I just took their picture because they were too cute! At least they got a paper plate out to eat on in the living room! I'm sure this won't the last time these two are partners in crime!

And you can see Jack is shaking the box to see if there is anymore!

And in this picture you can see Jack with a sucker. We got home from church last Wednesday and I started fixing the kids supper when I looked down to see Jack walking around with this sucker in his mouth. No idea how he got it. Jesse got some goodies from his end of the year party that day so he must have snatched it from Jesse. Anyway, he had it all over him, sticky stuff everywhere! Again it was so cute that I grabbed the camera!

Pre-K Graduation

Last week Bailey graduated from preschool. I can hardly believe she will be going to kindergarten in the fall. She isn't suppose to be this big yet! The graduation theme was red, white and blue/U.S.A. It was funny because the song they walked into was "Born in the U.S.A" and as some of you know Bailey wasn't born in the U.S.A. But I suppose a Turkish song wouldn't have been appropriate.

After walking into "Born in the U.S.A" they sang several patriotic songs

The beginning of this video is a little shaky sorry but it does get better and it is about 2min long for those of you who are grandparents or family may not want to watch. :)

This was a little interview they did with all the kids. The first question is "who protects our country?" Bailey said, "Jesus." The second question is "what are our flags colors?" Bailey said, "red, white, blue" and the third question was, "why are you proud to be an American?" Bailey said, "because I like to play" Great answers!

Party Fun!

This is one of the many parties we have attended lately. I love a party but every time we turn around some class - school, cubbies, choir, puggles is having a party! Anyway, this is Bailey's end of the year pre-K party. They had a picnic with games and lots of fun. Bailey loved the sac race but did not like tug-of-war or the relay race. I don't blame her I don't like tug-of-war either.

Zoo Zoo Zoo

A couple of weeks ago, Jack and I went to the zoo with Holly and Aspen and Jason, Debbie and Joshua. It was the perfect Monday to go. We had a great time with the three babies, who are quickly becoming toddlers! Ok I guess they already are toddlers!

Coming to see the baby panda is my favorite thing. He is just 6 months old.

Gol! (Goal!)

This video is of Jesse's last game. Every time they "played" he would always just run behind the other kids and never touched the ball but this game was different. He scored two goals! I got one on video for everyone to see what a superstar futbol (soccer) player he is! We are proud of our little kicker. (and I used the Turkish words for goal and soccer cause I just thought it would be fun since he was born in a place that lived, eat and breathed futbol!)

I forgot!

I forgot to show you my Mother's Day present! I got some new patio furniture! We had a couple of wooden chairs that we bought in Istanbul probably in 2004 at Tepe Home. Oh I miss Tepe Home. Ok anyway, the chairs looked bad. I mean bad. The weather had put its toll on them along with our little beagle, Scrappy. Scrappy loved to chew on them. I wouldn't even sit on them when we were outside because they looked so nasty. So off to Lowe's we went and bought some new chairs! I love them. It is so nice to sit outside and watch the kids play or just sit and talk to my sweetheart in a nice clean chair. Love my gift! I love my family!
