Quiet = Trouble

Jack was quiet. I thought Jack was playing in his room or something but clearly from the picture he was not. His daddy found him playing in the bathroom. Playing in the lotion, soap and water, rubbing them all over the mirror. He was having a good time!

Pedicure Please!

Bailey is definitely a girly girl. She loves to get her toes done. I took her last summer once or twice and she couldn't wait to go again this summer! So a about a week ago she asked when we could go get our toes done. I think I might have started this a tad bit early! But it is fun to already start a new tradition! I love my girl!

Big Boy Bed

This past weekend we set up Jack's big boy bed. He was so excited! After we got it set up and were putting the sheets on the bed he said, "get out of my room mom, get out of my room dad!" It was like he suddenly became a teenager instead of 2! He has made a pretty smooth transition except for when he gets in bed and says, "I hate this bed!" He can be a little dramatic.

Kick'in it!

Today was our last soccer practice/game. Jack of course was only interested half the time and he didn't even participate in the "game" part. Jesse continues to love it. He is so fun to watch. And well Jack is just funny to watch.

"warming up" - here they are touching there toes. Jack usually just squats all the way down while touching his toes. It's pretty cute.

This video is the coach trying to get them to choose a name. The little boy with the mohawk wants to be the otter bots or something like that. When the coach asks everyone if that is ok Jack says no. Then she tries for the otter bot dinosaurs. And again Jack says no. So it's pretty funny. I think they ended up with otter bots dinosarus green snakes! What a mouth full!

So here they are "playing" a game...
Score! Finally after a lot of work and going all over the field, Jesse scores! He actually got 4 goals today! And he was keeping count! Way to go otter bot dinosaurs green snakes!

Diet Coke Please!

On Friday's it is just me and Jack while Bailey and Jesse are at school. Normally we don't do anything to special but this day I was out running errands and so we ate lunch out. I asked Jack what he wanted for lunch and he said, "Diet Coke." So Diet Coke he got! I normally do not get him his own Diet Coke but ah, what the heck, he's the baby, right? Billy laughed when I told him cause I would have never let the other two do this but the baby gets away with ALOT of things! Well and the other two didn't like the taste of coke but this one loves it. He was so proud he had his own Diet Coke!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Ok so daddy's birthday was last week but I forgot to post about it because we travelled to Knoxville and blah, blah, blah, well I forgot. He was out of town too at a men's retreat so we celebrated early on Thursday. The kids helped me make him a Chocolate Chip Pie because he doesn't like cake that much. Here they are blowing out the candles!

Give it a Try: Mango Salsa

I was fixing salmon the other night and have seen in restaurants or in magazines that they pair Mango Salsa with it. So I thought I would give it a try. And I'm glad I did because it was delicious! Billy even loved it. I found this recipe on Epicurious. It was great on top of the salmon but I had it today with just some tortilla chips for lunch. So if you are looking to branch out a little then give it a try!

Mango Salsa
2 cups chopped pitted peeled mango
1 cup chopped red bell pepper
2/3 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
4 teaspoons olive oil
Mix all ingredients in small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. (Can be made 6 hours ahead. Cover and chill.)

You can view the complete recipe online at: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Mango-Salsa-5707?mbid=ipapp

Bailey and Lizards

I have posted before about Bailey's love of lizards. It is so bad that if she sees one and can't catch it she gets mad and pitches a little fit! She wants to catch them so bad. She is normally pretty good at catching them but while Aunt Denise was here they found a fast one and Aunt Denise helped her catch it. He was so weird though. His skin looked more like snake then the normal lizards we see around here. A little creepy for me. And he was fat! He was a big boy!

MS Walk

WalkMS_Logo-walktype.jpg

Every hour of every day, someone is diagnosed with MS. That's why I registered for the MS Walk and that's why I'm asking you to support my mom & sister in fund raising efforts with a tax-deductible donation. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is a community of individuals who are committed to achieving a world free of MS. It's faster and easier than ever to support this cause that's so important to me. Simply click on this link MS Walk.  If you prefer, you can send your contribution to: National MS Society 214 Overlook Cir Ste. 153 Brentwood, TN 37027 Please be sure to include the name "Georgia Johnson" with your donation. Any amount, great or small, helps to make a difference in the lives of people with MS. I appreciate your support and look forward to letting you know how I do. P.S. If you would like more information about the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, how proceeds from the MS Walk are used, or the other ways you can get involved in the fight against MS, please visit nationalmssociety.org.

This year our theme is "Like Mother, Like Daughter." As some of you know my mom was diagnosed with MS in 2003 and in 2011 Kim, my sister, was diagnosed as well. We are thankful for the support each of you has given us as they take this journey. Any contribution to help them fight MS would be greatly appreciated. You can also join us for the MS Walk, which is April 21 at The World's Fair site in Knoxville,TN. Registration is at 9am and the walk is at 10:30am. Let us know if you would like to join us!

We will have team T-shirts for the walk. The cost of the t-shirt will be $15. If you are interested in a t-shirt please send an email to Elizabeth Johnson - emailelizabethjohnson@gmail.com or call Georgia - 922-2682. Let us know by this Thursday if you want a t-shirt. Don't forget to tell us your t-shirt size when you order.

Happy Easter

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We had a great day with close friends. This was the first Easter in a couple of years that we've been at home and it was nice to share it with some good friends. I wish I had a picture of everyone but I didn't think of it till just now. :( Oh well maybe next year.

ready to hunt eggs

I was trying to get a picture of us but left the camera on video mode so here's our video!

And this is my sneaky child. If he wants something and he knows he is not suppose to have it he will go in the pantry or somewhere where he thinks he can't be seen and dig in! Normally it is chocolate or cheetos that I catch him with. So yesterday was no exception. I found him on the stairs tearing into his Reese's Cup Easter Bunny. This child may drive me crazy!
