Pumpkins

Today we carved a pumpkin and tried something new to a few other pumpkins. This was Bailey's first time at carving a pumpkin. She got a little bored and then wasn't too sure about scooping out the gook inside. She got a little over dramatic when she first touched it but soon started to enjoy it. I wanted to try something that I saw in the October edition of Better Homes and Gardens magazine. We took different colored pumpkins and gourds and made wholes in them with an apple corer. This left us with a plug that we put in the other pumpkins/gourds. It turned out pretty nice.

not to sure about it

This is what me, my sister and my niece did! Looks like something Martha Stewart would do doesn't it?!

The "polka dot" pumpkins are so cute. Great idea!
