The Lonely Park

The other day the kids and I went to this little park in downtown Woodstock and had a picnic. We pretty much had the park to ourselves except for two ladies having a nice long talk on a park bench. While we were there I kept thinking if this was Turkey this park would be full of people! You wouldn't be able to see a blade of grass there would be so many people sitting on it. Just some differences in us and Turks. And maybe since most of us have yards we don't feel the need to go to a park and sit in the grass unlike Turkey where most people live in an apartment and don't have their own yards. Anyway, we like going to parks. Bailey loves to go to a park and have a picnic.

Bailey had just gotten her hair cut and the lady fixed it "curly" - Bailey's hair really isn't that curly anymore but that's what she wanted!

Your comment about the parks is so true. Just the other day, Owen and I were out and there was a huge patch of bright green grass next to a statue with no one around. He ran straight for it, laid down and starting rolling around in the grass saying, "Look Mama, grass!" Enjoy your empty park :) Miss you guys!
