Go Wildcats!

Last night Bailey and I went to watch the Wildcats play basketball. We were all suppose to go but Jesse tummy has not been feeling to well so he and daddy stayed home. I think he had the stomach bug his daddy had last week. Anyway, Bailey and I had a great time at the ball game. The girls game was really good. They almost won. But the boys game was not so good so we left at half time. As you can see in the pictures Bailey loved dancing around on the sidelines cheering on the Wildcats! Bailey also got lots of treats while we were there as she went with the KB and then Uncle Rick to the concession stand to get M&M's and Skittles. It was a good night for Bailey.

Under the table

Bailey and Jesse love to play under the table. This is their new favorite thing. They will play under the table for quite a while. Funny what entertains them.

15 months

Hard to believe but Jesse is 15 months old. He weighs 26 lbs. and 10oz and he's 30 1/2 inches tall. He still isn't walking as a form of transportation. He will take 2-3 steps to me but that's it. But hopefully soon he will walk because carrying around 26 lbs. is not easy! He is also a handful! You can tell him no 10 times and he still goes and does it! or spank him and it doesn't even phase him. He gets this from his daddy! But he is so fun. He loves to play with his sister and dig into every basket, closet or drawer he can find! And yes he still carries his monkey with him everywhere he goes.

Did I mention he gets into everything? As you can see he decided to get into the diaper bags one day. We put his dirty diapers into these little green bag so the smell isn't so bad. Well each box has 250 bags. We had used maybe 20-30 of them so you do the math as to how many I picked up in his room!

Pray for Little Anna Grace

I wanted to ask for prayer for some friends of ours little girl, Anna Grace. Anna Grace has been in the hospital in Baton Rouge for almost two weeks now. She had been sick for months and the doctors couldn't exactly get the diagnosis right until they went to Baton Rouge. She had choked on something months before and so a little sticker was blocking her air passage causing all the trouble. She had surgery to remove it but Anna Grace is having a hard time recovering. I am going to send you to the Hunter's blog so you can read and I don't mess up any of the story. But please pray for Anna Grace to heal quickly. Pray for Victoria and Andrew as they take care of both of their little girls and pray for strength as they are exhausted in so many ways! And pray for Allie, their oldest, that she would be able to cope with all that's going.

This boy loves doors! He loves to sit and open/close them, stand and open/close them anyway he can open/close them! If he keeps it up he'll either be a door man somewhere or a door maker!

Little Beggar

Jesse got tired of waiting for his oatmeal (that I was fixing) and decided to beg for food from his sister. It's so cute when she feeds him which she loves to do. She really likes to feed him raisins at lunch. He also begs food from me when I'm eating my cereal! Little rascal. Bailey did the same thing when she was his age and well she still does! So if you come to our house to eat you better watch your plate!

Lesson Learned.

Well today I learned a valuable lesson in parenting - NEVER put Jesse down for a nap without his pants on! Jesse spent the day with his Granny and Papaw. She laid him down for a nap with only a shirt and a diaper on. He woke up with his shirt on, diaper off and poop all over him! Lovely. I mean it was all over his feet, legs, hands, face and I'm pretty sure he had some in his mouth! So gross! What makes a baby want to do this? Bailey took her diaper off a few times but thankfully it never had poop in it. Oh well now I know not to ever leave him in just a diaper! So all you moms out there with little ones learn from some one else's mistake!

The Electric Slide

Jesse has been playing on our little "fort" for a few weeks now but today he decided he would slide down all by himself. Such a big boy! So as he slid he created quite the electricity that shocked me every time I picked him up! He must have slid 10 times in a row! And Bailey loves that he is getting up there with her now and playing. It's fun to see them play together.

Fun in the car

The trip to TN takes about 12 hours which is really long. The kids travel really well and since Jesse is off the bottle we don't have to stop as often and we drive it straight! On the way home we stopped to get Krispy Kreme for the ride home and for Billy's family. We discovered that Jesse loves Krispy Kreme doughnuts! So if you are ever on your way here and have a Krispy Kreme near by then bring us some!
