Last week went visit and friend, Elif and her mom. Her mom made a wonderful Turkish breakfast for us! She made a great pastry called sigara borek or cigarette pastry. Sounds yummy, right? Well it's just gets its name from the shape of the pastry. But it is really delicious! So today I decided I would try and make it. And it was good. I've also learned to make another kind of borek from another neighbor. That's about all the Turkish food I can make so if you come visit I'll make you some.
