Jack will sometimes say he wants to be a rock star when he grows up. Not sure where he got this because we aren't the type to watch MTV or even listen to rock star type music! Anyway, the other day Bailey helped him dress up like a rock star.
These are just a few pictures that I forgot to post.
Jack loves to drink coffee. His nany got him started on it a while ago. He tries to drink mine but I don't let him so he has to wait until he sees his nany. So while on vacation he got coffee everyday! He really only gets the last couple of sips and then he is asking for more! There aren't many drinks he doesn't like so we might be in trouble one day!
this was after our morning bike ride. We rode about 8 miles that morning. Bailey had asked to take a longer bike ride but afterwards she said, "I didn't mean one that long!" Haha!
I posted a few weeks ago about the kids taking swim lessons and we continued with them this week. We took a week off for vacation. Here is there progress.
Jack - Before vacation he was able to jump in and go under. Now he is able to swim just a tiny bit without being held on to.
Jesse- he got promoted so he he needed to get swim goggles. Big day! At the end of his last class he was jumping in pretty good but not really swimming. But on the last day of vacation something clicked for him and he started swimming! I didn't catch it on video but it was so cute. He would get out of the water after jumping in and swimming to his daddy and would put his fists above his head and shake them! Almost like a boxer does as he takes a victory lap around the ring! So cute!
One day I was making something and I had my apron on. Jack wanted to help and wanted me to put his apron on...can you see it? The purple shoelace tired around his waist? Yep that's it. I am sure it will keep his clothes from getting dirty! Not sure where he got his idea but it makes for a good blog post! I love it when he says cheese and closes his eyes! So cute!
The restaurant we ate at today had some lobsters and the kids enjoyed petting them except Jack. You can see from the picture he stayed a safe distance away. He finally "petted" it by putting one finger on it for about 1/2 a second. It was funny.
