From City Slicker to Country Girl

Bailey was definitely a city slicker but she is fast becoming a country girl. She used to hate to walk outside without her shoes on a few weeks ago when the weather got warm. She would start saying "dirty, dirty, shoes!" But now she goes outside without shoes, no problem. She has also started to pick up bugs and stuff. She has picked up a caterpillar, inch worm and even a lizard! She loves to try and catch a lizard. We have plenty of them down here.

Chocolate lover

Have I ever mentioned that Bailey loves chocolate? Well she does! She doesn't get it that often but asks for it almost everyday at lunch time or as she says "nunch". She loves to eat the sugar free chocolate pudding cups or just one or two Hershey kisses will do the trick. She gets this from her daddy and maybe a little from her momma.

As you can see she has it every where...face, hands, down her shirt...

Jesse has started sitting in the high chair now that we have one. He likes to sit in it while I'm cooking in the kitchen.

Cochon de Lait

Louisiana College (LC) hosted Cochon de Lait a few weeks ago. They boiled 3300 lbs. of crawfish and roasted a pig. It was really good. They had about 600+ people show up for the event. Bailey had a good time in the blow-up jump thingy.

Finally!

Finally we are moved in! Finally we have a house! Finally we have internet! Finally we have a home after being "homeless" for 4 months! We were thankful to be able to stay with our families but we are glad to finally get our own place. We love our home and can't wait to make lots of memories! We would love to have you come and visit! I'll post pictures soon. I am still organizing and putting stuff away and I need to hang some pictures.

We're Moving!

Just wanted everyone to know we are moving on Friday! We can't wait to get into our new house and get settled. Today it has been four months since we left Turkey so it's about time to get into our own space! If you aren't doing anything this Friday or Saturday come by and help us unpack!

Look at me

Bailey's not the only one getting to swing these days. Jesse loves to be in the swing. I think he could swing all day just like his sister.
