Master Griller

Billy decided it would be a great idea to get a grill for the new place. So we did. And he was right we've used it several times! I think we've used it every night we've been home for dinner. We've grilled hamburgers, steaks, chicken and vegteables. He loves doing it and it cuts down on my cooking and cleaning! He loves making new marinades to put on things. It was definitely a good purchase.

Stomp

Last night we went to see Stomp. It was a great show. If you've never seen it is worth it! It's amazing what they can do with match boxes, garbage cans, brooms, kitchen sinks, pots, hoses, plastic bags, cup and a straw! and much more but it is incredible! I haven't laughed that much in a long time. It is quite a show. We were thankful we only had to pay about $7 to see it because I think some have paid $50-$100 or more! Anyway, Stomp is one of the best shows we have ever seen. We highly recommend it if you get the chance!

Good Bye Europe

Sorry we haven't blogged in a week but we haven't had internet but thank goodness we are back online! Well last Friday we moved from Europe to Asia or rather from our old apartment to our new apartment. It was a day! But we made it. Bailey had to spend the night with some friends because the apartment was a wreck! It now looks better but still have a little bit of work mostly hanging pictures and finding a place for a few odds and ends. The new place is great and we are thankful to be here. I will tell you more about it in the next few days.

Happy Mother's Day!

For me this was more of a Mother's Day Weekend. It was great. Yesterday we took a boat trip up to the Black Sea and ate fish. Then we walked around the little village, played at the park and then had ice cream. On Sunday Billy and Bailey brought me breakfast in bed. And then after church we went to one of my favorite restaurants and then topped it off with Italian ice cream! And I got some beautiful pink gerber daisies. What a great Mother's Day!

Apartment Update

12 weeks and counting!

I'm sure most of you reading know by now but we are having another baby! I am 12 weeks along and the baby is doing fine. I went to the doctor today and the baby is 6cm or 2.5 inches. We are excited and can't wait to see what this one will be like!

In the picture on the left you can see the baby has his hand up at his/her face. And the picture on the right is a 3-D picture of the baby. Every time I go to the doctor I get an ultrasound and pictures. It's great!

Bailey gave up the bottle

This week Bailey made a big transition one that she still isn't too sure about. She gave up the bottle. We tried to get her to drink her milk out of her sippy cup but she refused! Even though she drinks her ayran out it just fine but not milk. So we tried drinking out of a cup with a straw and she does that pretty well. We still have a ways to go but I think the hard part is over!

Just Daddy and Bailey

This past weekend, I went to a ladies retreat. So that left Bailey and Billy together all weekend. They made it! They had a good time. Some Turkish friends couldn't believe he was going to watch her all weekend by himself. They said there husbands never do that. The longest they babysit is maybe 30 min. I had a great weekend but I was glad to get back to my sweeties!

since I was gone Billy had to get Bailey ready for church...he did a great job!
