New Apartment

Well we are having to move after living here for six years. Well I've lived here six years but Billy has only live here three. Anyway we have a new place but it needs a little fixin up as you can see. So we will keep you updated on the progress.

Bailey loves to "help" unload the dishwasher. Every time she sees it open she rushes over to see what's going on. She may be eager to "help" now but one day she will not be so willing!

What time is it?

If you look over to the left hand column of the blog page you will see a clock. This clock tells you what time it is in Istanbul! and it reminds us of the time in the states! So if you were thinking about giving us a call and can't remember the time difference then now all you have to do is look at the blog and it will tell you! Now hopefully we won't get calls in the middle of the night! Not that we get many but sometimes we do.

Another day

It has been a slow week of posting. Sorry. Let's see this week I took Bailey to the doctor and she weighs 23lbs. and is 30 inches long. She was supposed to get a vaccination but she has a little cold so the doctor wanted to wait. So we will go back in two weeks. She is walking a little more but she would much rather get down and crawl.

Bailey loves to carry things around in her mouth - socks (these are clean for those who are wondering), cloth diapers or whatever she can find!

Happy Birthday Bailey!

Well today we celebrated Bailey's first birthday! It was a wonderful day! It is hard to believe a year ago we were waiting and she wouldn't come and finally the doctor made her come! This past year has been full of blessings which has surpassed our wildest dreams! God has been so good and we love everday of being mom and dad. I don't think a day goes by that Billy doesn't say "it is so good to be a daddy of a little girl." We wish everyone could enjoy her like we do but we hope this blog helps bridge that gap. 1st Birthday Eve

Well this time last year we were getting ready to go the hospital to be induced the next day. And here we are one year later the eve of our sweet little girls first birthday! Not sure you can have a birthday eve but it works for Christmas and New Year so I figured it would be ok. Anyway here are a few fun pictures of today. Of course for you die hard Bailey fans more pictures and videos are on dropshots. Tune in tomorrow for birthday pictures! The party isn't until 5:30pm so it might be late when I get them posted.

Adana Kebap

Well this past week we got to visit some friends, who live in Adana. Adana is famous for their Adana Kebap (kebab). It was delicious! We've eaten it lots of times in Istanbul but never again in Istanbul. It's good but once you've eaten it in Adana then you can't go back to just good. But it is a nice sunny city. We stayed with some friends and they have a collie, who Bailey loved but the love was not mutal. When she first saw the dog she just screamed, squealed, clapped her hands and moved quickley to get to the dog but no sucess. Cassie, the dog, ran quickly every time Bailey was near. Poor dog. Anyway we had a great trip.

Also Bailey took her first steps in Adana! The video is after the fact and we couldn't get her to do it again. She only took about 4 steps but she did do it again today!
