First Hair Cut

Yesterday Bailey had her first hair cut. She actually just had her bangs trimmed. She wasn't too sure about it and so she cried as my sister cut her hair. But she looks cute and we can finally see her baby blue eyes again!

What a day!

Well yesterday was a long day but we made it! Bailey and Jesse did great. Jesse slept most of the day as usual. Bailey slept for about a couple of hours on the plane and then played a little bit and got a little restless but she made it. We finally made it to Knoxville at about midnight after being delayed in Chicago. Then they lost two of our bags - they found one but the other one is still out there somewhere. It's the bag with my clothes in it. But that's ok I got some new clothes out of the deal! Thanks for all your prayers!

Big Boy

Yesterday I took Jesse to the doctor for his one month check up. He weighs 10lbs. 6oz. and is 22 inches long. I can't believe he grew that much!

One month old

It's hard to believe that Jesse is one month old. He is growing so fast! As you can see in the pictures his cheeks are getting a little chubby. And his clothes that were once way too big are now fitting just right. He goes to the doctor on Friday for his one month check up so I'll let you know then how much he's grown. He is such a blessing! We are thankful to God for our little boy.

Things really are bigger in America

Since we've lived in Turkey for almost 7 years we've missed out on all the new stuff that Americans produce. One thing we recently saw that Billy's mom brought was a zip loc bag. Ok I know your thinking zip loc bag? What's the big deal?! I think when we left the biggest they made them was gallon size but this zip loc was the king of all zip lock bags! I couldn't believe how big it was! We put it next to a liter of milk so you could really see what I'm talking about! Only Americans would make such a thing! In Turkey we only have one size of zip loc bags! America, oh how I love it!

Bath Time

Jesse is starting to like his bath. Now he only cries when he gets out of the tub. Look at his belly! He's growing so much!
