Yesterday was Cumhuriyet Holiday. So there were lots of flags out as usual. And then we had a firework show last night that you could see from our house. Actually we had one Saturday and Sunday night. I tried to take pictures and get a little video but it's not so great. If you just heard the video and didn't know that it was fireworks you would think a war was going on.

I'm surprised that some of that stuff didn't just fall off while they were driving down the street! How crazy looking!
