Soccer

I have been a terrible blogger this past fall and start of winter but I am going to try and get back with it. So here goes!

This fall Jesse played soccer again but this time he was on a real team! He was so excited. He loved cheering for the other players on his team and running all over the field! He played U6 which is coed and they play 3 on 3 on a little short field. They were so cute!

Gol! (Goal!)

This video is of Jesse's last game. Every time they "played" he would always just run behind the other kids and never touched the ball but this game was different. He scored two goals! I got one on video for everyone to see what a superstar futbol (soccer) player he is! We are proud of our little kicker. (and I used the Turkish words for goal and soccer cause I just thought it would be fun since he was born in a place that lived, eat and breathed futbol!)

Soccer Time

It's soccer time again at our house. Jesse is playing in the Little kickers league. And league is used loosely. All they really do is practice and then at a couple of times they "play" three on three. He is enjoying it and usually does really well at not picking up the ball with his hands but you'll see in one of these videos he needed to help the ball out.

They play red light green light in order to learn how to dribble the ball, go slow and then stop the ball.

They had team pictures on this day. I had to take him to practice. As you can tell I think his shin guards maybe on wrong but oh well this is something his daddy normally does!
