Beach - Day 3

Day three was filled with lots of pool time, bike riding, shopping for the girls and then kites at the beach! It was a great day! The kids loved flying their kites. But if you ever do it make sure you put the kite together first before you go! (warning this post is a lot of kites and probably mostly for family!)

Jack opened his kite at home and the handle did not make it back in the package so he had a short string until Daddy and Granddad fixed it.

Beach - Day 2

Today was more of the same beach, eat, pool, eat more then sleep! Great day! One of our eats for the day was going to "Robert Irvine's Eat!" He is a chef that has done shows on the Food Network like "Dinner Impossible" and "Restaurant Impossible." His food did not disappoint!

This is a french fry that Jack ate tonight at dinner. Notice anything?

He is eating it like corn on the cob! He also eats his bananas and hotdogs like this. Have you ever seen anyone do this? Never crossed my mind but then again he does march to his own beat! I love that little boy!

Beach - Day 1

This week we are on vacation with my parents at the beach! This is our fourth year to vacation here and we really love it. And we love the fact that my mom and dad were able to join us this year as well. My mom was even able to get out to the beach with the help of my dad, my husband and a couple of cardboard boxes! Motorized wheelchairs don't go so well in  the soft sand and so we had to come up with a plan to make it happen and viola! Cardboard boxes!

I forgot to take my camera this morning to the beach so I just have pictures of our walk on the beach tonight. All the kids love the sand, ocean and pool.

Nany and Bailey after lunch today

18 Short Years

My good friend, Mandy, recently started a parenting blog with a friend of hers called "18 Short Years." It is a great blog to help encourage parents as they take this journey of raising kids. There are guest bloggers on here from time to time. Some are seasoned parents who have been at it for quiet a few years and some who are just getting started. So whether you are one of those that have kids about out of the house or you have one just about to come into the house, you should check it out. It's good stuff!
