The bathroom again

Would it be possible to put his bed in the bathroom? Again, last night we found Jesse asleep in the bathroom. He is so funny.

Building Blocks

Jesse got these blocks for his first birthday and the kids love them. We love to build tall towers or castles or train tracks. Jesse and Bailey like to build while Jack likes to knock them down! Many times we can't get it built before he is knocking it down causing lots of frustration and yelling from his siblings. So I try to entertain Jack while the other two build. Jack also likes to build by putting two or three blocks together and then knocking them down. Blocks can usually entertain for an hour or more some days and then some days they don't even want to stop and eat lunch! Hooray for blocks!

Just two minutes before this, Jack had knocked down one of Bailey's towers before she was done causing her to go into a tizzy with lots of crying and yelling and then storming out of the room. Thankfully I was able to calm her down and we continued with the building! Drama - this girl has lots of it!

We Love Picnics!

We love to go on picnics. Yesterday we went to a new place and half of it was great and the other half was not so great. The great part was the covered picnic tables right on the lake. It was so nice and breezy not to mention beautiful sitting by the lake. And the kids loved watching the boats go by and watching the ducks swim. But the not so great part was the duck poop everywhere! If you were sitting at the table you were fine but when Jack got up I really had to watch him so he didn't step in it. But it was funny because he would walk around pointing and saying, "poop, poop!" After lunch we found rocks and sticks to throw into the lake. That is always a favorite. Next we headed to the playground but I didn't let them play because it had sand in it. We don't do sand unless we are at the beach. I am not a fan of bringing sand in my house and cleaning it out of shoes and everything else. So we just ran around the picnic tables. Funny, right? or maybe you are thinking, weird? I know they are kids they are suppose to get dirty but dirt I can handle, sand I cannot. At the beach is fine because one it is not my house and we wear flip flops or crocs. So easy to clean. Ok anyway, I don't feel guilty. We still had a good time and will be visiting this place again.

Rock Climbing

Last week Bailey got to rock climb for the first time. She was so excited and did really well.

Dentist Time!

Last week I took Bailey to the dentist for the first time. She did great. I have to say that I wish I had a dentist like that when I was little. Everything was painted a fun forest including a tree house or an ocean or a city scape and then games to play and TV's everywhere so you could watch while you were in the chair! Much much better than the dentist I remember as a child. And Jesse talked about it all day and wanted to go back and drive the race car game they had. Hopefully it will be a good experience all the time and not something she dreads as I did as a child.

He did it again!

Well last night as Billy and I made our way to bed, we found Jesse asleep in the bathroom with his monkey. I promise he has a bed and we don't make him sleep in the floor. When I asked why he fell sleep in the bathroom he said, "well, I had to go to the bathroom." Little squirt.

About a week ago, it was nap time for everyone cause it was Sunday. Well, Jesse was not in the mood to nap so he played unbeknownst to me cause I was napping. And he was quite which usually never happens! Anyway, for some reason I got up and found him asleep in the hallway. It was so cute. He was curled up with his monkey, which he always has to have to sleep. After taking a picture I scooped him up and put him in his bed.

Then that same night, as Billy and I were going to bed, we found him asleep in the hallway again! So I took a picture again and then put him in his bed. Little squirt.

Cheese, Sky, Go, Stop and Hi

Jack is talking quite a bit these days. These are just a few of the words he knows. He also knows - milk, bubba, momma, daddy, Nany, Neenee, bye-bye, bowl, poop, me, bubble, ballon, ball, croc, dump (as in dump truck), snack, bath and then the ever famous uh uh uh uh uh, as he points to something he wants. One word we are working on is please. I try to get him to say it and he just says uh-huh. I just laugh and keep trying!

Hammock Time!

The kids (especially Bailey) loves to sit in the hammock. The other night I caught her in it swinging with her eyes closed just having a good time until her brother, Jesse, wanted to get in. And she did not want him swinging with her. I told her to let him sit and she screamed, " I can't have any quiet time!" and stormed off! Dramatic? Just a little. It didn't last long Jesse wanting to sit in the hammock so she continued to have her quiet time. Peace.

Bowling Fun!

A few weeks ago we went to the bowling alley. Bailey had been before but this was Jesse first time. They both loved it. I had thought we would all play but that didn't happen. Jesse and Bailey couldn't wait for three people to go before it was there turn so Billy and I just ended up letting them take our turns. And we also paid for two games...lesson learned. Next time we will just play one. Anyway, they had a great time. Even Jack had fun as much as an 19 month can have in a bowling alley. Oh and Bailey loved helping Jesse as you will see in the pictures and the video. Such a good big sister. Oh and sorry there is no sound on the video. I took the video with my phone and when I downloaded them up to Dropshots there was no sound. You didn't miss much though.

In this video, Bailey is carrying Jesse's ball because he wanted the red one and it weighs 12lbs! And then  almost everytime she would pick him up and they would celebrate! So cute!
