Only in America

Ok there are a lot of great things about living in America but I'm not sure this is one of them. While driving through Pigeon Forge we saw a Wedding Chapel that had a drive thru window so you could get married or renew your wedding vows. This is what there website says, "Looking for a FAST and FUN way to get married or renew your wedding vows? Our Wedding Bell Chapel drive thru ceremony offers a truly unique & memorable experience you're sure to enjoy! Also included is a FREE "Just Married" or "Just Remarried Sign." Since when did going through a drive thru become fun and especially to get married! Can you imagine your fiance saying, "Hey honey do you want to go through the drive thru at McDonald's and get some burgers and while we are out let's get married at the drive through as well." How romantic. Every girls dream to get married in a drive thru. But you get a free "Just Married" sign so that should be worth it.

See the white sign on the left side of the building that's the drive thru window. Nice.

Spring Break

While Billy was on spring break we went to Tennessee to visit my family. While in Knoxville we went to a Turkish restaurant named Ephesus. It was pretty good for being in the states. We had Adana kebap, kavurma, baklava and cay. The Adana kebap was good it was like eating it in Istanbul but not as good as what you get in Adana, of course. Then we had a dish called "Chicken Tava" but I have no idea what tava is but it was pretty much like a kavurma from Marko Pasa. And the baklava was really good. And the cay was real Rize cay! It was even served in a cay bardak! It was fun to be able to speak a little Turkish. The owner has lived in the states 16 years and he is originally from Adana. He use to work on the base in Incirlik. So we are looking forward to eating there again when we go back to Knoxville.

We also went to Gatlinburg one day and had pancakes and went to the Aquarium. Bailey liked looking at all the fish but it was nap time so she didn't always want to have her picture taken.

mmmmm.....good!

Jesse has started eating rice cereal. We weren't sure if he was ready but as soon as that spoon went in his mouth he was asking for more! I couldn't get the spoon in his mouth fast enough. When I was too slow he would start fussing. Just like a man.

Between Bailey and Sara, Jesse can barely get a moments peace. They both want to hold him all the time and are constantly in his face when he is playing on the floor. Poor guy. But I'm sure he'll return the favor to them some day.

Tummy Time

Jesse is not rolling over yet so I'm tyring to put him on his tummy several times a day. He is not a big fan of being on his belly. He toleraltes for a little while and then gets really mad. He is doing better about pushing up and kicking his legs but not a hint trying to rollover.

He is also starting to play with his little gym mat like reaching for the toys.

Do you want some bath toys Jesse?

As I was giving Jesse a bath last night Bailey decided that he needed to play with her bath toys. So she put everyone of her toys in this little tub. It was so funny.

Growing Boy

Jesse had his 4 month check-up last week and boy is he growing. He weighs 15 lbs.
8oz and is 25 inches long. He is in the 60th percentile of both weight and height. It is hard to believe he is already 4 months old. He is such a sweet boy. He is almost always good. He rarely cries. Althougth the older he gets he is getting more demanding. He loves for you to talk to him and when you stop or walk away he starts to cry but just for a second. He is sleeping about 9-10 hours straight at night. This mostly depends on if Bailey wakes him up when she gets up! Thank the Lord and has been doing this for about a month and a half. He just started eating 8oz and will start on cereal soon. He is such a blessing. And he has the sweetest little giggle! Just like his daddy!
